We've blogged about Jean Pelle's beautiful designs before — we love her work. This time, she's teamed up with ReadyMade magazine to create a light fixture that can be easily replicated at home. We see a lot of projects, but this is one that we actually want to make for our own house!

The fixture groups bubble balls from CB2 with similarly sized globe light bulbs from any hardware store. Complete instructions found in ReadyMade available here.

Very pretty - and looks alot more expensive than it really is
lovely industrial contrast to a rough-hewn wood table.
Its macromey with bubbles, fun!
Ooh! Gorgeous.

(don't be mean)
bepsf, LOL!

Scary, ugly!
Not all handmades are Beautiful.
i like it.... i better be really patient though because any DIY i do goes wrong... I am talkin' armageddon, Y2K wrong.
Thanks Guido -
I was reading it "Mac-Chrome-y" and thought LoriSF might have been referring to something vaguely Scottish...
;-)
I love this DIY - gonna use it. Thanks.
wow, great idea.
bepsf - hahaha "vaguely Scottish".
How is it mounted to the ceiling?
Is the link to the instructions still working? It's saying "page not found."
Please help... the link to the instruction page is not working Would love to make this
Found it! http://www.readymade-digital.com/readymade/20090203/?pg=37#pg37
It's a bummer that they're incandescent bulbs, though. Seems like they could have used glass globes, each with an LED bulb inside. It's much more stylish to be green!
Inspired by this, we made our own version-cutting a few corners of course...

I'm doing this one. I love it. Just moved into a new loft and the current hanging light fixture is so ugly. Since it is a rental - I don't want to spend too much money. This will be perfect.
