We've spent some time lately writing about mindful living, and the idea that truly sustainable living often means you simply buy well and buy once. Of course, those things often cost more money, and so for many of us that means being deliberate about what we know we want and consistently setting aside money for it, whether it be an antique dining table, a set of Wegner Wishbone chairs, or a fabulous handmade pendant light. Tell us: is there one thing you love that you're saving up for? It's easy to sacrifice something you really want for a more immediate solution, but some things are worth saving up for. Every home should have at least one thing that took work and sacrifice to get, because you'll appreciate it all the more. Your home should be a place full of pieces and items that mean something to you and/or fulfill their designed purpose to the best of their ability.
What are you saving up for?
