Even though Halloween isn't even here yet, that doesn't mean you can't still be thinking about holiday gift giving time. Usually we dislike the push to make the holiday season earlier than it is, but when you're handmaking all your gifts it's never too early to get a start on things. What do you have on the agenda for this year's crafting? Care to share?

For the last several years, some of us here at Re-Nest have exclusively done handmade holidays and although it seems like a great deal of work (which it is), it's ridiculously liberating to be scrounging through the craft stores instead of frantically searching weekly circular ads for retail stores to try and find a deal on something we hope our recipients could put to use.

We love giving handmade and try out best to make our dollar go further and give items that will be loved, cherished or at least eaten with a smile. What's on your holiday to-do list? Do you have some faux-Jonathan Adler pottery in your future? What about some stenciled pillows or sheets? Lip balm, anyone? Possibly even a few sets of napkins to coordinate with seasonal decor — that sounds like a good idea to us! Share your ideas in the comments below!
