A friend of mine is going to a holiday party where they will be doing a gift exchange, and they must bring something they own, but don't want anymore. I love this idea. It keeps with the gift giving festiveness of the season, but openly allows you to pass on something you just don't need in your home anymore.
I imagine most of us have regifted or given someone something we already own at one time or another; it's seems to be becoming more common, or at least more people are openly admitting to it. Personally, some of my most favorite gifts I've received over the years have been things people have given to me because they thought I'd enjoy them more.
What regifting etiquette do you live by? Are you planning on passing along any gifts or treasures this holiday?
