It's been raining all week here in Boston and the weekend isn't looking very promising. So what better way to spend a rainy weekend than to tackle a project or two? I'm hoping to finally finish the kitchen table that I've slowly been working on over the last several weeks and do some long overdue spring cleaning. If you are one of the few who
don't have a growing list of projects to do here are a few ideas get you inspired:

What are your weekend project plans? I'd love to add some more items to my list.

We'll be continuing to work on our guest bath, but I also want to tackle a few smaller things like making a console table and listing things on Etsy.
Oh and I love the 4th idea, I've been tempted to do that lately.
I TRIED to make that table last weekend, but didn't get enough lumber and ran out of time =( This weekend!!
This weekend me and my dad are drywalling and painting my parlor. It's hard work but i think we can finish it :)
We are finishing the rabbit cage and making a straw coop for the backyard chickens! Woo Hoo! I am excited!! I'll try to take pictures & post them.
Office design! I have to plot and plan how to make my space tolerable for human habitation without making too much of a statement. Lest I get labeled as "creative." (When accompanied by a cocked eyebrow this otherwise happy term can sometimes indicate "frivolous" or "not promotable.")
Spray painting a coffee table base and getting a new glass top cut for it.
Think I am gonna finish my coatrack this weekend.. with some lovely baskets I bought ad Merci in Paris ;) Hope it work outt like I have in mind :)
It's not going to get finished this weekend, but I got a slab of reclaimed oak from Longleaf Lumber in Cambridge. . . going to use a few coats of tung oil and then get 4 hairpin legs from hairpinlegs.com - voila, a console table.
We're going to start painting the exterior of our house this weekend! We hope to be done by next weekend, so I guess it's not exactly a weekend project, but still. I'm excited! It looks so dingy at the moment.
Oh, AT, if I could stop reading your site, I might actually finish some of my unfinished projects, including:
1) Install last of repainted trim and baseboards in my boys' bathroom.
2) Paint free bed I found on the roadside for my daughter, whose mattress is currently on the floor of her room.
3) Set a few stones for the garden path.
4) Paint the craigslist file cabinets I found recently.
5) Paint the perfectly cut piece of MDF the perfect shade, and set it atop craigslist file cabinets for the perfect desk!
I'll refrain from listing all projects in my backyard needing attention...
Perfect timing for this post. Today we picked up tile for a kitchen backsplash, a new front door, mulch and patio pavers for a new front patio we're DIYing. Wish us luck, we're gonna need it.
Constructing the perfect margerita while enjoying the treehouse deck.
