Hmmmm. My color, it says, is Black! I like it for wardrobe (although it's risky with furry pets!) and for basic furnishings (in lacquer or leather, mostly) but not a LOT of it. And frankly, I don't look great in it either, although that's not always a motivator! (I wear it anyway...)

I don't think I could deal with a totally black room, unless maybe a home theater where darkness must prevail. So for me, it would have to be an accent. For large expanses I like neutrals or even brights, but usually a limited pallette and nothing with a lot of pattern. (Well, there are those drapes in the family room...)

I think quizzes like this oversimplify so much that they are essentially meaningless.

There are so many things that can influence the colours you use in your home... The "bones" of the space, the quality and quantity of light, the materials in the home....

Blues I would say.

Black. That's no surprise though. But my favorite color is gray, and I decorate with it, a lot. Gray curtains, gray rooms, gray rug... not a gray room with a gray rug and gray curtains though, too much gray.

I like warm colors in a room, like red, orange or yellow, but recently I like to use these colors more like accents with a cooler background like blue-green or blue-gray, but also a creamy white.

I'm not too sure about this - I got black as well, then changed a bunch of responses and got purple.

I think that's kind of funny since red says "Your interests in many areas of life often leave you scattered, but when you focus you can accomplish anything you put your mind to," and black talks about how well I focus.

While I like red, I don't really decorate with it. I have a few rust coloured things in my main room and I like reddish wood but mostly I have neutrals and greens.

I'd say decorate with the colors you like/love, forget the quiz.

I too am highly skeptical of this quiz. Red? Um, no. Changed a couple of the answers I was so-so on and now I'm Black? These are probably the two colors I decorate with least in my home. (And the personality descriptions were way off too.) I'm all about blue, green, yellow and orange (and brown, if you count all the wood.)

I got red, which is not a color I use very much, except in very small punches. I'm much more drawn to blues and greens.

My current, new apartment is based on accents of bright green, aqua, and dark brown against a palette of neutral pale creams and grays. It seems to work in my northern exposure and feels both energizing and soothing (which red definitely would not!). I imagine the colors we're drawn to give a balance to the "color" of our personalities.

They must be trying to move some black paint, cuz I got Black too.

I've always tested as blue but I am red here. I am not a red fan.

I got black, and I hate to decorate with it. I like bues, greens, and browns, with cool neutrals. My favorite color is green, and I don't really decorate with it, even...

My Grandma decorated with only her favorite color and her whole house was different shades of purple. She loved it. I guess it's just up to the individual.

Hmm, I got black. As far as color goes, not really me.

But a calm environment for me isn't neutral tones and coordinated colors. Like it says, my ability to focus is undisputed. For me, calm is something that makes me happy. Stick me in a deep pink and rich orange room and I'll be perfectly calm and relaxed... so long as it makes me happy.

I got "red" and it is spot on! It's my favorite color to use, but I have to reign it in sometimes since it's such a powerful color. My boyfriend says it looks angry, pshaw

Mine was green. I do like accents of green in my apartment ... but I have mostly neutrals, splashes of blue, and lots of black.

Purple? This is the last color I thought I would turn out to be! My bedroom is splashed with sunny yellow and my kitchen is full of retro elements with such colors as yellow, orange and green! There is absolutely not a drop of purple in my home let alone my wardrobe! Crazy quiz!

I love black clothes, it goes with everything, i like black accents as it makes things pop a bit for me, i dont think you have to live in a room of it because its your color tho.

Red is the furthest thing from my personality. And house-color preferences too.

I AM, however, intrigued that my personal favorite colors for my home, are ones that best compliment to my skin & face, and are my favorite to wear because of them looking good on me.

(Uggh, quizzes/questionnaires like this depress me, knowing that some people think it's legitimate to reduce our minds to a OR b OR c. Simplistic. Totally dismissible.)

Yellow? Well I do have a sunny personality. I've never had a favorite color, but I am a redhead so every four or five years when the color palette turns to colors that flatter my complexion, I tend to load up on them.

Okay, I like black. I wear a lot of it. Hello, because it's so practical and you can own fewer things. I don't think I want to decorate my home in black. I need colour! Lots and lots of colour. Turquoise, green, purple, hot pink...gimme!

That said, I do think every room should have a little black in it somewhere.

I got red. Red is so not right for me. I actually mostly despise red and hardly own anything in the colour (which is funny, since all of Canada turned itself red for the Olympics and I wore... green!). Although I am often drawn to other people who wear red, so maybe I do like it?? whatever. I cannot foresee myself decorating with it, unless it's an accent in a carpet or something.

The description is half-on, particularly the part about accomplishing things if I put my mind to them (which means I don't accomplish what I don't want to, ha! so much for my current job!). This quiz is so half-baked, it's no wonder most of us are ending up with really weird colour answers vs our own actual preferences. But really, from such a simplistic quiz, how can you expect it to be precise or accurate. ... particularly if they then use phrases like "energetic bursts of energy" in the descriptions.

I think these quizzes are mildly amusing, just to see what happens and how I react to it. But I don't need a quiz to tell me my personality color -- I don't even care what my personality color might be. I like what I like, and I compromise with whomever I live with and what THEY like, and my decor looks fine. (My FAVORITE color is teal, but I don't actually have any of it in my decor...)

I got black the first time, which makes a lot of sense. When I changed one answer, I got red. Not a huge fan of red, but I don't dislike it either. Maybe I'll try something different with some red!

I have a theory; if you said you're liberal and artistic, it probably gave you black...I DID used to be a Goth, but I got so tired of black...but yeah, black is what I got.

I got red, which is definitely a color that I like in my home. The two main colors I'm drawn to seem to be blues and reds. I have a big oriental rug that is mostly red with some blue accents in my living room, so that brings a lot of red into that room. But I definitely like to have different colors around me and never too much of any one.

I am gray.

I love gray. I have a gray metal bed frame but have been hesitant to use that color on my walls or as fabric. It is like silver which I also love.
