My husband and I are buying a house in Denver in August. It's a 1930s English Cottage with small rooms and is currently painted in warm yellows and oranges. I'm planning to paint with cooler colors — pale blues, grays — to make the rooms feel larger and more neutral (also I just prefer cool colors).
But I'm stuck on the kitchen. It was recently updated with black granite and light wood cabinets. It's small and square, so I'm looking for paint options that would make it feel larger — but not sure what would work with the cabinets. Should I go with a simple white? Add a colorful accent wall?
