Last week we looked at how one clever mom repurposed a crib bumper as a teething rail in her son's room. It inspired us to pull together some other smart ideas from our archives and around the web for ways to put that bumper to use outside the crib.
1. Tara of Smitten Stationery transformed her bumper into a long pillow for the back of a toddler bed. If you don't want it in the bed, perhaps it could be put in a corner for the start of a reading nook.
2. Used on the outside of the crib for added decoration.
3. Mandy's mother-in-law helped babyproof a concrete hearth with this padded bumper.
4. Super Natural Baby designed their bumpers to tie together to form a soft baby play mat. One of our readers tried it with her own bumpers - check it out here.
5. Christina, aka The Green Girl, simply hung her bumper on the wall and uses it as a bulletin board/display space for photos and other mementos.
Any other ideas to add?
