Q: Our non-working fireplace is in the master bedroom, and the ONLY electrical outlet in the entire room was installed smack dab in the middle of the hideously tiled-over interior. We need a solution that will be safe around a somewhat questionable older electrical socket (house was built in 1919), and that will still allow access to plug things in. It's a rental, so removal or painting are not options, and the wood has too many decorative cutouts to go the temporary wallpaper route. Please help!
