Q: We're starting to renovate our Boulder, Colorado house and are struggling to determine what style the original structure is. It was built in 1915 and was originally a one-story structure (the top was added in the early 90s). Crafted from ubiquitous orange Colorado brick (now painted off-white). We have no idea if the porch, which has a Victorian flair, is original. It seems to incorporate elements of a number of different architectural styles but we have yet to pinpoint exactly what it is. We would like to stay true to the house's original intent or, if not, to make a conscious, informed decision not to.
