Where To Turn To When You've Lost the Manual To the Remote Control

Where To Turn To When You've Lost the Manual To the Remote Control

Not that long ago, thanks to the kindness of a friend, I became the owner of a perfectly fine, but well used audio receiver. One problem: there was no remote and no manual. Actually this turned out to be no problem at all, I could turn to a helpful online resource for old and outdated devices...a library of missing manuals. Whether it's for the uncommon Tiantianyong TV-139f for Dynex TVs or the instructions for a discount bin manual remote special, Remote Central's Universal Remote Control Manual Archive has a large database of downloadable instructions available for free. Both Universal Remote Control Manuals and OEM Remote Control Manuals are listed, with a search by name option if you know the name/model you're looking for.

If you don't find it there, you might want to swing on over to SafeManuals/Diplodocs, a database of more than 1.2 million manuals available for download for domestic appliances, TV's, audio equipment, phones, computers, and just about anything else that came with a printed instruction manual.
