When technology out dates itself and you're left with a household full of old computers, there aren't many options. Assuming you've already scavenged them for parts and pieces, why not use the shells as a brand new...

... storage system! This set up is attached firmly to the wall and holds all sorts of traditional office clutter. Sure it looks like a shrine to the Apple Gods, but in this day and age, so does anything with a white headphone cord or a glowing logo.

Over at the Katz Blog, we ran across this sweet set up and we love that before it was donated for scrap, it was put to use in the home. The shelving system would be slim, trim and keep a small footprint in your space — bonus if it keeps our stray keyboards and cds in check as well!
