When creating a relaxing, restful bedroom it's important to consider what exactly you can see from your bed. Does it allow you to relax, to daydream? Is there clutter? Is there a painting that you hate? In our bedroom, we've decided to have exactly nothing right ahead of us. So the wall across from the bed is blank. All the art we have is on the same wall as the headboard so that when in bed all we see are smooth light green walls. That's what works for us... For a while we also tried having the bed face the window in hopes that we would just enjoy the view but we were rarely in bed with the curtains open.
What do you see when you're in bed?
