What's Better in Small Kitchen: More Cabinets or Full-Size Fridge?

Good Questions

Q: I'm thinking of renovating the kitchen in my 1-bedroom condo. I've been chatting with my friend who's an architect about ideas for the renovation. He suggested an undercounter refrigerator and freezer as opposed to the full refrigerator I have now.

He makes a good point that it would make the kitchen feel larger and add cabinet space, but I'm concerned about resale value.

I'm curious — what are other people's thoughts? For a small kitchen, is it better to have more cabinet space or to have a full refrigerator?
