A study was conducted in the UK to figure out the times in the week when most surfers are connected to the Web. The peak rush hour, when average web speeds slow to a crawl, is Sunday between 5pm and 6pm. A close second for busy Web traffic is weekdays between 3pm and 4pm—precisely when the rugrats get released from school. During weeknights, speeds are slowest between 9pm and 10pm, suggesting that this is when most people are using the internet. All this info got us thinking...
Would these stats still hold true with United States Web surfers?
We can figure that we'd still see a sharp increase in traffic when school lets out during the week. But we can't ever remember, in our house or anybody else's house, fighting over the computer on Sunday nights.
When do you go online, Unplggd?

i start reading the news at about 7:30 in the morning, right after i return from walking the dog. for about an hour, hour and a half.
hm. When I am not online? Sad but true.
I think the issues is when are people downloading big files and playing online video games. I do tend to download movies and music in the evenings, 8--10p.
