I like to play the equivalent of "Where's Waldo" while viewing House Tours throughout the year, searching for each of the household's television(s). I know you're there somewhere, maybe even just cropped out of the frame...I see the remote! Some people try to hide their televisions, while others incorporate them as part their home decor. Either way, our tours often prove televisions don't have to be an eyesore with some planning

Is it me, or do none of these televisions look hidden. The rooms are beautiful though!
I'm with you @Rachel C - not hidden, but well-incorporated.
the tvs dont look hidden...
The point of the post isn't about hidden televisions. It's about how to incorporate them in to the decor. Which is what the words of the article say.
None hidden, but all done very well. Most of them have the tv eye level. Better would be to have the screen center a little below eye level for comfort. Much less neck strain. If it's your primary set, that is a must. If it's a secondary set, not so much. An article on CNET told of one of the worst places to put your tv: over the fireplace. It's too high for comfortable viewing (craning your neck), soot will be a problem for the electronics.
most just look like they have added clutter to the room to help disguise it...it didn't work.
People watch too much tv on enormous screens. I find that depressing, especially when the flat screen is "throning" in a middle of a room. Where are the books? And I am not talking about self-help manuals!
It's nice to not have a television. No need to worry about it taking over the room. ;)
These look good but all use the same, obvious solution - tv table in front of a big empty wall. I'd love to see more ideas for odd layouts... our living room is all odd angles, windows, and open space, leaving no obvious "TV wall" and place to sit opposite.
