Q: I am looking for some nice cafe curtains to hang in my kitchen (as cupboard doors, not windows). I'd like a really pretty fabric, or else an eyelet cotton, but I'm having a hard time finding something handmade. Does anyone know of an Etsy store offhand that offers this? And I have zero sewing ability, so making them myself is out of the question. Any recommendations would be great!

Many upholsterers also do drapery work. You could try calling some upholstery shops in your area and seeing if they would want to do this custom job for you. It would probably be pretty inexpensive for you and quick for them.
I got mine from the swedish web http://www.countrybymail.co.uk/en/grp/textile-notre-dame.php.
I'm sure any tailor shop might do the work for you. Find the fabric you like. Take your measurements and it's just a couple of straight lines. If not you could buy double fusible tape. cut and iron. :) It's awesome
Go to your local fabric/craft store and ask for a seamstress recommendation. Many keep cards at the fabric counter or register.
I've made dozens of these for myself and my sister...usually out of a cheap white sheet! We can't stand vertical blinds, so for a while almost every apartment we moved into got a set of these on a tension rod in every window!
I second the easy peasy option of looking for a local seamstress at a fabric store. If you're in the Bay Area (or just want to send fabric and window measurements) let me know; I'll make 'em up for you! You can find me by following the website link in my profile. :)
