OMG, this post reminds me of an ep of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where they spraypaint a chair gold to make it look like it's dipped in gold, LOL. Ok, not funny put like that, but hilarious on the show. I guess that'd be one way to get it.

How about finding a contract piece that you can specify a silver leather on?
Poltrona Frau - crazy expensive ... but definitely a luxury! David Edward, Texstyle, or American Leather are all good options ... although none of these would be in the budget category either.
You could always find a vintage piece and reupholster - Spinneybeck and Edelman both stock metallic leathers.
Or as a contrast to your leather couch, maybe a metallic, patterned chair would be a nice compliment ... a cheaper option to leather.

Have you tried like even an Ethan Allen, Arhaus, Room & Board and seeing if they have silver leather or if they could do a custom order (or maybe even help point you in a good direction)?

Like others have said - If your budget is $500, you'll get a vinyl covered piece of Chinese junk - not something that's leather and made to last.

Better to save your money and consider more classic/quality pieces that you won't be inclined to toss out in a couple years when the trend dies.

I think that's a great idea from Lisa. There are so many other ways to bring silver into your room than with a spacechair. Sorry, I know that's not what you asked.

I like the idea of a pouf chair. Also have you considered updating an antique chair with an upholstery that compliments the color scheme you have going on in that room and paint the wood a metallic?

What about silver fabric rather than leather?

I agree a silver fabric, especially a silver velvet, would look better then silver leather. In fact, I think too many leather furnishings look odd, so if your couch is leather I would look to upholster your chairs in a contrasting texture.

It would be nice to see a pic of your room but why silver? What about a lime green or yellow wing chair? Leave the silver for an accent.

i say get a black leather chair and a silver pouf or some other accessory, like pillows, in silver. i can't imagine a silver club chair as being something that you'd want in your home forever and from your stated price point, it's not something you can just throw money at willy-nilly.

Sorry, I just realized that you got the chair from Chiasso when I mentioned at first that Chiasso has silver stuff! I think everybody here has posted great ideas which are really worth your consideration. Still I understand how the silver feeling can come over you. I almost bought the silver couch at Chiasso but I had to be more practical so I didn't get it. I was able to cure my silver craving by . . . using something else that I found for free. They are brushed silver, cylindrical and graphic. I can use them for various purposes and I had to have 2 of them just like you. So I understand your problem. Maybe you will find the perfect silver thing when you least expect it--that's how it happened for me. Blessings!
