Q: I found this picture on a blog and I love it, but neither the blog nor the original site mentions the artist. Any ideas?

I tried isolating the image and doing a reverse image search, but no luck. Maybe try emailing the original poster?
I have no idea, but I'd be interested to know as well. My husband is really into planes and I've been trying to find some classy airplane artwork.
all i could find was that it came from est magazine
http://issuu.com/estemag/docs/estmagazinefifthissue/82?mode=window&printButtonEnabled=false&shareButtonEnabled=false&searchButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23ffffff
maybe it's an original & one of a kind?
I like the Constructivist angles - all these converging lines! Blur your eyes to not see the plane and you'll see a great composition.
I'll have to go through my back issues (kind of tough at the moment since we just moved & they're all in a box somewhere), but there used to be an artist who advertised in the back of Atomic Ranch magazine, whose paintings looked a lot like this one. He's not in the current issue, but if you have any back issues, you may want to look for him in there. I'm sorry, I can't remember his name! And I liked his stuff too.
I reminds me of one of Julian Opie's "landscape" pieces from the late 90's/early 00's. Colors may be too saturated for Opie, but the photo is too small to see the piece closeup.

I'm not sure where you can find that art exactly but here are some cool airplane photos you can get from the National Air and Space Museums Website:

It kind of reminds me of paintings by Ann Orlowski. She has some that are from the view of the plane, looking down at fields. And a lot of big sky and architechture. http://annorlowski.com/www.annorlowski.com/Home_-_Ann_Orlowski,_Art,.html
Apologies on the Captain Obvious Q but did you contact the blog and the original owners to see if they can locate the source for you? Or contact the individual person whose room that is?
FWIW - it reminds me a lot of art deco and precisionist painting. Charles Demuth. Charles Sheeler. Ralston Crawford. Google some modern precision painters and see if anything bites. HTh!
looks like @caseyinto has the best info so far. From that article, the home owner works for this company so you could send a note here:

I agree with NIGHT. Contact the blog and ask for more info. I just contacted Lonnymag because I liked one of their fonts and I wanted to know the name of it so I could use it.
Why not contact designer Nina Provan? After all, the article in the EST magazine is about her latest home design works. I bet the magazine would refer you to her to get the sources of the design elements she used.
The designer for this was Nina Provan (http://www.neometro.com.au/) This was for their project at 41 Darling Street. I'm certain they will be able to help you figure out where they sourced the artwork.
This photo was taken by photographer Toby Scott and featured in Este Magazine #5 (http://bit.ly/LI20DZ)
