Katie I'm loving this bedding also. Is anyone out there familiar with this kind of bedding? Is it really hot? Would love to learn more about this style.

The fabric store by my house has a ton of faux furs, but I imagine they would be SOO hot. But, you don't have to actually use it - just turn it down when you go to bed.

I'm pretty sure that's an Alpaca fur blanket. I always see them for sale in Lake Tahoe.

Try"fur/fake fur" bedding under Google product search. It really IS too hot to sleep under - but great for looks!

I'm not even sure if its fur... There are plenty of fuzzy blankets out there, especially when winter rolls around. But this looks more velour to me, in which case, they should be everywhere very soon!

Not as lush-looking in the photos, but my roommate got something similar from them years ago and it was very nice quality and cozy!

there is a good chance it (or something like it) came from a pottery barn holiday collection. they have throws in faux fur every year, but a few years back came out with a duvet in select store locations too- keep your eyes peeled this holiday as it may make a debut again
