Q: My boyfriend and I are looking for nightstands. We have a reclaimed teak dresser and a charcoal tufted headboard. We really like the nightstand in the photo, but can't find it anywhere! I would love to know where we can find something like it that is around 24 inches tall. Thoughts?

Ercol Bar Stool
Mitchell Gold used to have something like that. It's an end table so look there rather than at nightstands. For example - http://www.lofthome.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1887
Or http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/product/detail.do?productGroup=24725&catalog=filter&menuCatalog=room&menuCategory=201&menuSubcategory=154
You get the idea
You could have one custom made
this is close although a bit taller than what you want

Pro tip: you can search using an image in Google by dragging the graphic into the Google Images search field
It's too bad - the original post states they found them in a resale shop: http://www.houzz.com/discussions/200834/Hi--who-made-the-nightstands--They-are-gorgeous-#comments
That being said, these are quite similar: http://www.greenbauminteriors.com/Ralph-Lauren-Night-Stand/160306R-807/ItemInformation.aspx
Here's one that is very similar: http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/product/detail.do?productGroup=22115&catalog=filter&menuCatalog=room&menuCategory=201&menuSubcategory=143. It comes in different sizes and four wood finishes.
In the comments section of the SF Gate article link, the designer said "We found them locally in a resale furniture store."
I too think it would be way cheaper to have them made by a carpenter..
You just blew my mind...
@deeare, drag it how? It's not dragging for me. And when I put in the URL, I get: The URL doesn't refer to an image, or the image is not publicly accessible
This nightstand looks like one I love on Pure Home. It has the same shelving style but it also has a drawer. You can find it here: http://www.purehome.com/11-south-encore-nightstand
Good luck with your hunt!
@SnowdogMaine. To drag an image, click the image with your cursor but hold the mouse button down, then drag the cursor while still holding the button, drag it over the Google Images search field. When the dragged image is over the search field, a pop-up should appear that says Drop Image Here. Release the mouse button and the image will be inserted in the search field.
Great table! I have been all over the the Internet looking for furniture for my living room and I have had the best luck at : joss&main and Ones king lane! I have seen that table on more then one occasion. These sites are fun to shop it's like a TJ max meets Marshall's but better and there items include designer finds and eclectic to everyday, home stuff.check it out .but know this there sales are only temporary and they change every day so u have to know what u want and snag it before they disappear .good luck
