Q: I recently bought a nice couch for a good price. I've seen it around, but don't know anything about it. I'm hoping you and your readers can help. Attached is an image of the couch, not mine, but the same one.

I have a lounge chair and foot rest exactly like your sofa. I tried to find the designer a few years ago with no results....
Last year when I did the cure, I asked a similar question about mine (but my GOD, your upholstery is so much better!)
Yours looks VERY similar, and I think the name tossed around was Sigrun Bulow-Hube for a Canadian furniture company (AKA?) maybe you can find out more!
(And seriously, I need your upholsterer's name.)

The couch pictured isn't mine AKAwhiteknuckles. The photo is from creativeflats.com. Unfortunately mine is in purple velvet, instead of the black leather.
This was my question 2 years ago about who designed this couch. I was just looking for information on my new couch and stumbled on this thread. Thought I should update that this was made by R. Huber Co. here in Canada. I'm selling mine now as I just got a Borge Mogensen.
