Ampersand love has been around for quite awhile & is still going strong. What has us so entranced with this sweet little symbol? Could it be that long, graceful, solitary line that makes us smitten? Or is it its sweeping, mesmerizing curves that keeps us on our toes?
Whatever it may be, it keeps showing up & we keep coming back for more. Here are some great ways that ampersands have charmed their way into our homes and hearts.

A little off topic. Where I live, the east-west streets A-Z end across from my neighborhood. The street after Z is &. It cracks me up every time I see it.
Villiage,
do they call it "ampersand street"? or "And street"? --- or do they call it both get folks REALLY confused...
You could get something more graceful and somewhat more meaningful with a treble cleff. I would still think that was cheesy. But wtf exactly are you trying to tell me about yourself with an ampersand?
I like both treble cleffs and ampersands. Hell, I just like saying ampersand....ampersand.....ampersand.
They make me nervous.
hmmmm- as a typographer- even I don't get the need to place large letters in your home. Large Ampersands make even less sense.
i love using type in my home. i am a graphic designer, after all!
how do you write it - i mean what techniqe do you use so it look good in handwrithing?
i just dont see the point. i knew a girl once who got a tattoo of an ampersand. AND what??!
MyAliya-It's called Ampersand Street. I googled it, and it turns out there are a lot of Ampersand Roads and Streets, and at least one town.
it's cooler than a lone letter because it represents both a word and concept: more than one, the joining of things/people, togetherness, etc...
plus it's pretty :)
