Q: I have a Burke table (the 36" version) and four propeller chairs. The table has a taper-edged, white laminate top. It looks fine but I wonder if the table would be more dignified with a white marble top? This is also inspired by the fact that my 2 year old can push it with her feet and the table is never centered in the room- annoying:
Does anyone know where one could have a 36" marble top made (and attached to the base, I can't do that bit myself). White on White used to sell tops but don't have anything in that size. Also how much might such a thing cost? I found one online but it was $750 so I came here instead, knowing that someone must have dressed up their Burke base with a stone top! Right? Anyone? Thanks!
