Q: What are these fantastic shelves? This image is on page 97 of the current issue of the UK Elle Decoration. It seems to be three separate sets of String style wall shelves, but much much better. I've searched online every way I could think of. How can something so cool exist and be so impossible to track down.

These bookracks are from the fifties/ sixties and are well known in the Netherlands.
Search online for Tomado Holland or Pilastro bookracks and you'll find them.

They are sought-after, so they don't come cheap.
Yes, I have been looking for these for ages. Check ebay, but be aware it comes with a lofty price tag. You will find that most of them will come from the Netherlands not the US or Canada.Unless you find someone who just so happens to have one. Good luck in your search!
