Q: I would like to buy a Vintage 70s Dymo Label Maker. Do you know where I can get my hands on one?

Howard Butcher Bloc...
Uh, Ebay?
I'd check e-bay too.
I found mine on Ebay. It wasn't a pretty red one like in the picture, but it came with its original box and everything, plus extra tapes. I must have paid 15 bucks for the entire thing. I actually just checked Ebay and there's a red one for sale with the box for 12.50, but the box looks very worn. There are a lot of label makers available, so check Ebay and have your pick.
There are least ten vintage label makers on eBay right this moment.... Is this really a Good Question?
While not vintage, Dymo still makes embossing lable makers. You can get them at wal-mart.

OMG, I had that same label maker in a biege-like color. My mom must have tossed it when I went away to school.
Why do you want it in an original box? Do you plan to plan to use it, or are you a collector?
Try the internet they have everything.
Yeah, the bar for "good questions" seems pretty low.
I'd like to buy some Goldfish crackers. Any suggestions where to find them??
*facepalm*
I just threw one away because I couldn't find refill tape for it.
Old hardware stores are another option. You know, those cluttered neighborhood stores that have dusty old everything still waiting to be sold??? There are two in my town I'd head to if I were looking for these... but eBay would be available anywhere...
Amen tinyhands.
Also try Etsy. I find their shipping is often more reasonable. Here's a link to one but they seem to have quite a few. Love those label makers!!

funny thing - I have that exact orange dymo machine from the photo!! no tape tho :(
In lieu of real labels...dymo font! http://www.dafont.com/dymo-font-invers.font
This makes the fact that the questions I have sent in never get posted just a little bit worse...
Ahh, I love my fellow AT readers. Exactly what I was thinking, all of you. :)
Alternately, thrift stores. It's hit or miss, and you won't find one in the box (which was in the title, but not in the actual question...?), but I have four of the ones in the picture here in all different colors, all from the Goodwill (I know, I have A Problem). Most of them even come with tape in them, though you can get refill packs on eBay if you're careful about the spool shape.
I have one in the plastic box with tape. What do you got to trade?
