Q: Where can I find prints by the artist Wayne Thiebaud? I love his work but can only find a few of his paintings as prints and posters online. I particularly like the cake window paintings, but would love to find prints of any of his work. Any suggestions?

i was recently at the national gallery and remember seeing some in the gift shop. here's what they offer online: http://shop.nga.gov/nga/category.cgi
the calendar is nice if you want smaller prints... just cut them out and frame them.
I was going to say NGA too - they have a huge selection in their gift shop. Look for calendars/cards/etc for good prices.
McGaw Graphics carries two of them http://www.mcgawgraphics.com/search/node/thiebaud. My company has The Wedding Cake in stock http://www.cart.firstartsource.com/servlet/the-67017/Wedding-Cake%2C-1962-by/Detail and we could order Three Machines. We also have Ponds and Streams available in two sizes.
The Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento has a good Thiebaud collection. Perhaps you can call their gift shop or ask someone at the museum for some suggestions.
The best source I've found online is the SFMOMA giftshop: http://search.store.yahoo.net/sfmoma/cgi-bin/nsearch?unique=c9b2e&catalog=sfmoma
You could contact UC Davis. Thiebaud was a professor there, and they have many of his pieces in their collection. They might have prints for sale. The Nelson Gallery on campus: http://nelsongallery.ucdavis.edu/
Second the Crocker in Sac. www.crockerartmuseum.org; i believe they have some posters of his in the gift shop.
By prints, do you mean real artist prints or just reproductions?
