Q: I am helping my parents to redecorate and we found this beautiful couch that is only available in Australia — the Brooklyn 3 Seat Sofa. Can anyone point me to somewhere in the US that sells it, or something similar?

Wow, that IS beautiful. I was just at EQ3 yesterday and saw this sofa which is *similar* (and customizable):

EQ3 is Canadian (even made here) so maybe they'd ship to the US or are carried there.

Mary B C , that is a gorgeous couch! If they would make this one in leather I would buy it.
It looks like it is inspired by the Le Corbusier Grande Comfort Sofa. Note the simple use of pillows that provide the seat, the arm rests, and the back set on a simple frame. A link to the Grande Comfort chair below:

The Le Corbusier has an external frame which is what makes it particularly distinctive. I think it is closer to the Herman Miller Goetz sofa.

Room and Board has the Clark and Holden sofas as well which are similar:

Also, Room and Board has one very similar and you can get it in any fabric that they carry:

After reading this post and opening everyone else's links, I went on thefoundary.com to check out today's deals and spotted this beauty. (I'm not sure if that link will work if you don't have an account, so I googled the Calvin Sofa for the link above, it seems to be available through several sites).
@BSARIST, nice Herman Miller sofa. I'd say it is a hybrid of the two. Note that the arm rests on the Goetz sofa are nothing like the pillow arm rests on the sofa above.
I love the purity and modularity of the cushions on the sofa above. The frame, I find, is secondary to the concept.
This identical one was on Gilt last month, but still available here: http://edmondfurniture.net/products/Four-Hands/fhand/vmra02w512.html
Great catch @heelsonsbricks!
It's a variation of Illum Wikkelsø's sofa, which in turn, seems to have been influenced by Børge Mogensen's Fredericia sofa.

The Foundary currently has a sofa which resembles the one you want.

Target has one of these for $207, which is a great price if you're on a budget. I have one, it seems to be of great quality so far. Also, for the price, I won't feel too quilty eventually tossing it or getting a new one later down the line. Oh and it folds out too!

The Foundary has something very similar today.

Crate and Barrel has a couple similar, but not exact. Depends on what you like the most about the original.

Anthropologie has something similar: http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/home-new/24808503.jsp
Restoration Hardware's Sorensen line has a similar look:

I love all these options posted by others, but what concerns me from online reviews is whether the couches keep their shape over time or soon become lumpy. If anyone knows how any of these models holds up over time, I'd love to know. Thanks!
Wow, thanks so much for all the suggestions! We will check them out and post back with a decision :)
