This happens to me fairly often: I find myself running low on something like...dishwashing liquid. And I write it down on a list. And inevitably, by the time I'm ready to go to the store, the list has magically disappeared (probably out in the recycling bin with the rest of the junk mail). Two hours later, when the dishes are ready to be cleaned, I'll have to run over to the nearest convenience store to pick up dishwashing liquid. So now I'm brainstorming where I can keep a list that's easily accessible to write items down and snatch up when I'm heading out the door... [ Photo from Photoblyss' Flickr ] Now, it would seem like the refrigerator would be an ideal spot...unfortunately, mine isn't magnetic (something that I wish to this day tested before I bought it!). And wall space is at a minimum: It's either tiled or concrete. I'm testing out one solution of keeping a small notebook in a drawer by the fridge so I can keep a running tab on things as they run out, but so far it's been ineffective (if it's out of sight, it's definitely out of mind!). Where do you keep your to-do and grocery lists?
