The internet is full of fabulous homes that often do a little day dreaming about and currently there's several celebrities with their property on the market that fall into this category. We thought we'd take a second to show you a few of them and ask — which one would you like to call home?
You can click through on each celebrity to see more photos of their homes that have recently gone on the market. Some are staged for sale while others still have a few more personal belongings inside. We'd love to spend an evening in Judd Apatow's bedroom (don't take that the wrong way), or beat Mel Gibson at a game of yard chess. Which property would you call your own if given the opportunity?
• Mel Gibson: 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath, 5,403 sqft in Malibu, California.
• Scott Baio: 4 bed, 4 bath, 4,403sqft in Encino, California.
• Josh Groban: 4 bedroom, 4 bath, 6,138 sqft in Malibu, California.
• Judd Apatow: 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath, 6,018sqft in Pacific Palisades, California.
• America Ferrera: 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 6.520 sqft in Los Angeles, California.
You can see these homes along with a few other celebrity homes over at Front Door. It's easy to get opinionated about multi-million dollar homes after looking at them, but in the end we still love our 1,000sqft basement loft!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Architecturally, I prefer Josh Groban's home, but America Ferrera's home has more in terms of a "blank slate" - I wouldn't have to repaint!
I think I would take either in Malibu because of location and then sell it and buy beach front in Kauai.
A few years ago, I saw an article (can't remember where--Glamour? Cosmo? One of those ladymags) that did a shoot of the home of Emmy Rossum (of Phantom of the Opera). It was gorgeous.
Wow, from those pictures, I'd say none of them? If I had to pick, I'd take Mel Gibson's place and maybe try to tone down the yellowed Tuscan feel by painting more of the interior white and decorating in something other than all earth tones.
Scott Baio's looked promising, but the listing expired so you can't see any more pics. I really like the views from Mel's and Judd's homes, but I'd have to remodel inside cuz they are really not to my taste. I'm with hyzen about toning down all the yellows in Mel's. It has good bones and some great architectural details.
I would take Mel's place--in a heartbeat. Not all the decor is exactly to my taste, but since we're fantasizing here, I'd do some redecorating. But the outdoors of the property is so beautiful. I'd be spending most of my time there.
none, they are all in california.
I want nothing to do with anything touched by right-wing nutjob Scott Baio or nutjob-nutjob Mel Gibson.
America's seems to be the least fussy, so I'll take hers!
if you include the celebrity cleaning staff and income, sure thing.
Scott Baio's house with a little repainting. All the others seemed a bit too McMansion for me.
I think the listing agent for Gibson's property turned up the cyan balance/saturation on the photos just. a. bit. too. much.
I would take Scott Baio's... but #scottbaioruinseverything, so.... ;)

mel Gibsons. love the rustic-ness and the pool.
I'm with repressed on this one.. No nutjob homes for me thanks! ugh, so do not love Chachi..
Horrid, every one.
HeyNowTex - I promise the listing was still up last night when I wrote the post, the rest of his house was equally as cool, though the oversized dining room chairs really left something to be desired. The pool however... was fabulous.
(the link for Scott's place has been fixed)
I must be in a really crabby mood, as I don't like any of them.
if we repainted and redecorated Mel's place, my staff and I would be comfortable there
Gibson or Groban....
i like the "villa-vibe".
None of them! Just because you have money doesn't mean you have taste!
I would say #2 since it's the closest to what I like but, it's just on the edge of "The Real World" circa 1999.
Scott Baio ftw. But isn't it a little tacky to have a picture of yourself above the mantel?
Josh Groban's house is much more to my liking than the others - and it would take the least amount of redecorating to make it work for me.
Sorry - none of them.
If I picked Judd Apatow then would I get to hang out with Seth Rogan and friends? Cause that would be the deciding factor.
Lol, I would go w/ Mel's place, although I can't tell which beach he is closest too or how far inland he is. I'd like to be somewhere between El Matdor & Leo Carillo
None.
This is fun. I like the property around Mel's house the best.
The least bad option is the AF one. From what I saw of the kitchen, there's not much storage in there (huge no no for that price), and the colour of the walk-in closet is horrible (another No), so I think I'll stay put on the other side of the Atlantic for now.
I'll take Scott Baio's house on Mel Gibson's grounds for $15 mil, Alex.
No way would I want to live in the LA area!
Overdone. Every last one of them. I would take just about any House Tour home on AT over any of them.
Definitely America Ferrera's...simple but yet very chic. Bon Chic, Bon genre.
None.
they are all kind of stale. scott baio's bedroom is soooo sad.
Flea's house! (from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers) featured long ago here on the site...
Number one celebrity home!!!
Awesome awesome awesome!!

Mel's place
If I could buy a home and get all the furnishings too, definitely America's.
America's...or Mel's.
Like hyzen, Mel's place, with less gold and more white.
Love that ceiling.
I guess if I were forced I'd take Chachi's house because once he moves his stuff out of there I could do a lot with it. Good windows, lots of space, not that horrible faux Tuscan/Med McMansion vibe that the others have. The outdoor theater would have to go, and the front gate would have to be changed, though. He'd have to come down on that price.
lol
None. They are all horrific.
We (They) can't all have great taste, I suppose.
I'd go with Judd Apatow's Pacific Palisades house. Has a great view in a great location and it's not quite as McTuscan as the Malibu ones. I'm presuming if I could afford it, I could afford the redecorating funds.
Yikes. None of them.
i think i like mel gibson's pad the least. my favorite has to be america's among these choices. It's sleek and modern.
I think there are a couple of other celebrity homes featured out there that are way, way better though.
Mel's. But the pink rug is killing me.
