Silver Lake Music Conservancy that he founded, and we were always a bit sad when he moved away (though we nearly literally ran into him at a Lakers game). But now we understand why he moved west of the 101. If we were offered a view (and a study/bookcase) like that overlooking the Pacific, we'd move in a heartbeat.
We're certainly impressed that every corner of his home is filled with artwork, reflecting a passion for sculpture, photography and paintings, alongside a decent size collection of bass guitars gracing a studio wall.
One of our favourite sections of the home is the conversation corner; a huge black and red painting floats above a Ligne Roset Togo sofa, optimizing a space that could have easily been wasted. It's also right next to the kitchen, making it an easy trip to refill on refreshments. There plenty of more photos and details about Flea's Malibu dream home here to oggle (yes, a ridiculously funny real estate listing URL, if we've ever seen one).
