Q: For the past 8 years I have had my desk at the end of a hallway with a floor to ceiling window, without privacy (the space after the 2nd door in the photo) and very little space (I don't really need much space to do what I do). I now have the opportunity to change offices — either into a former bathroom (I think that's an easy no? Though that room causes allergic reactions in other people and I may have to take that space if my coworkers can't work in there) or to a bigger space that has a door and is private but lacks any window.

I have until Monday to decide and I'm losing my mind. I can see the virtues of the different spaces and everyone I ask is split down the middle or keeps changing their mind too!
Which office space should I take?

Sprout Side Table
We once turned a former bathroom at work into an art gallery. It was a hoot. Probably as long as you hang cloth around to minimize the echo from the tile, it would be fine, and you could kind of make a joke out of it, too.
I stay where you are and consider some type of on-desk screen to provide a little privacy. Something like what's at this link could at least remind people that that is private space. http://www.alibaba.com/product-tp/113243311/Desktop_Partition_office_partition_office_desk.html
stay where you are.. or use the one without a window.. while it may be funny to have your desk in a room with a toilet.. i am guessing it doesn't have a window either, but the moisture content would not be good for your computers, etc. and could be some mold underneath those tiles..
Oooof...Can you stay where you are? I work in a windowless office with a door and while I love the privacy (perfect for talking to yourself, lol), I really do think the lack of natural light has an effect on my mood. I get totally sir crazy in my little space and I think my attention span is less. I would kill (kill!) for a window like that one.
For the love of your sanity - stay with the window. You can freshen up the place with a new table. Maybe, try one of these desk top shoji screens for some privacy.

stay where you are.
Stay where you are. Natural light is so important to well-being.
WINDOW!!!
You're at the end of the hall anyway so it's private enough.
Stick with the window, and ask if you can hang a curtain or put up a divider.
Natural light wins over fluorescent every time. And that window is awesome and your little nook looks quite nice.
I had a similar set of choices once and ended up by the window in the more open space. I moved around quite a bit at work then and did feel better with the window spot. I'd consider a large houseplant to function as a partial screen to the left of your desk.
Forget the bathroom. I personally like quiet spaces when I work so I would go with the one without the window. You can always add more lighting to make it brighter.
Stick with the window.
