Now that the season is changing and the sun is staying out longer, its time to break out the candles and picnic baskets. I love the idea of a fresh cooked meal enjoyed in backyard under candle light or a romantic dinner date on the beach with blankets. Why stay indoors when a wonderful change of pace for any meal could be right in your backyard, on your favorite shoreline or the neighborhood park?
I love the idea of Summer festivities and enjoying what the outdoors has to offer for the world of entertaining. Whether or not you're preparing a dinner for two or ten... with a little creativity you can create the perfect retreat.
When you're not eating in the kitchen or dining room- what's your next favorite place to enjoy a meal?

Two simultaneous thoughts: 'These are georgeous', and 'What about the mosquitoes.'
i love outdoor dining. whether it is a corn dog at a festival or burgers in the back yard. i find it a relaxing way to enjoy the summer evenings.
I want a tepee so bad it hurts.

Where is that last picture? I want to move in!
citranella (spelling?) candles?? some non scenting bug spray? ha. Actully if you use Avon Skin So Soft its great bug repellent. Another trick is using a fabric softer/dryer sheet in your pocket or pillow case to keep misquitos away.
