Found on UK site Light Locations (a resource for photo industry professionals seeking good backdrops), this black-and-white apartment struck us as a slightly different take on a classic look. We love the wall of windows, thinly outlined in black, as well as the black artwork, cushions, throws, and accent pieces. With a blank white background and slim black molding, this apartment has the feeling of a crisp line drawing...

The rhythm of short, straight lines moves from the windows, to the storage pieces along the wall, to the dining chairs, to the artwork. Although simple, the design scheme in this loft space seems very carefully considered. For more photos of this apartment, as well as many more inspiring interiors, visit Light Locations.

Nomade Express Slee...
I love the windows and the decor that is there but, it's just so cold and sterile I couldn't live in a space like that.
"In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics."
I hope that quote isn't TOO obscure...;^)
btoddster...i agree, this apartment is v american psycho.
this space hurts my eyes a little bit.
Get out the Detol.
I like it, however, for me personally, this color scheme is too strict for me.
I am possessed by black & white...
What a great art piece! I heart it. =)
In a white room, with black curtains?
Is that the variety section?
I think this color scheme work work better in bedroom or bathrooms. these are smaller spaces that could seem larger, airy & pleasent with the all white scheme. It really is perfect for the bathroom. white = clean.
well...they certainly had fun with their colour pallet.
It's an alright place, but maybe just a little too strict and it reminds me of the photo lab in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
