Decorating a bedroom can be intimidating. Bedding is expensive, and matching it to paint, rugs, and curtains is often overwhelming. A quick fix? Pick a gorgeous color for the walls, grab some all-white bedding, and consider it done (but still stylish).
White bedding isn't as hard to maintain as you might think. Just keep some all natural oxygen bleach on hand and line dry if the duvet looks dingy. This room scheme can also be easily changed when you get tired of it — just pick another paint color or try out a cool wallpaper.

Agreed. I always think simple white is a good choice, plus it's easy to change up the look with a few good accents.
Agreed. I've done the same thing!
I used to be a patterned bedding freak, but have slowly gone the more calming all-white route. We painted our guest room Navy Blue and I had nearly all the bedding on hand thanks to a slight obsession with the Pottery Barn outlet years ago.

This is what I have myself, there's something quite luxurious about all-white bedlinen. And it's easy to give it a colour-punch with bright cushions and throws too.
Just rotated the bedding to winter whites. Very restful against light green walls and ceiling.
BTW, The Company Store has a great video on how to put on a duvet cover, without (as they say), crawling inside it ;-)
