Some renters lament their white box, longing to throw paint on the walls. If painting your space is not an option for you, make a statement with a colorful area rug. You won't have to worry about what your landlord will say, plus you can take the color to your next rental.
All the rugs featured here are made of wool, which is a great choice because of its naturally plush pile and stain and odor resistant qualities. It's also an eco-friendly material. In general, wool rugs tend to be more expensive — the ones featured here are priced in the low to mid range for wool rugs.

Nice choices. I'm always looking at new rugs since my pets have damaged the existing ones. Then I realize they will damage the new ones. Then my rug budget goes down to ~$300 and I can't find anything soft that I like in that price range.
@Parnassus try Overstock.com you can get decent wool rugs for good prices.
I bought one for about $170 recently that's 3/4 inch thick with a nice geometrical line pattern. Feels comfy under my feet.
