Dustin and Whitney from The Rooster and the Hen recently revived their plain-Jane bedroom, incorporating old pallet wood, a repurposed fireplace, and DIY art for the walls. The best part? After they sold their previous bedroom furniture, they ended up making $192.90!

Even though their blog is fairly new, Whitney and Dustin are old pros at stretching their dollars by shopping at yard sales and reusing old things they already have. Whitney painted over two old canvas paintings and made some inexpensive (actually, free!) beachy art from a repurposed frame and collected shells. The pair also worked together to switch out their duvet, make some burlap drum lampshades for their garage sale carboy lamps, and fill the faux fireplace with poplar logs they cut themselves. They also built a headboard and mirror from old pallets— the weathered wood is reminiscent of an old beach walkway, and adds to the seaside feel of the room.
Check out how they did it all, including a total cost breakdown and detailed instructions, in their master bedroom reveal!

The design caught my attention first to comment on this post. I am not an architect thus I am a photographer . The shot looks nice.
But my course here in commenting this one is the design and the creativeness of the architect or the planner as well. Its is very simple and anyone can do it but they formulated that design first and the idea came from them and they are so brilliant thinking. It looks simple but elegant.
Thumbs-up for this design as it is a nature lover/environment friendly.
