Can you spot the Project Runway winner on the first night of the season? Are you the one out of all of your friends who always wins the Oscar pool? Well whether you have the winner choosing gene or not, if you are a regular Apartment Therapy reader, we bet you have aquired some skills in spotting a potential Small Cool victor. Do you have a favorite for the win?
After three weeks of sharing amazing small homes from around the world, we've finally reached the moment where the competition really starts to heat up. Today is the first day of the round robin style head to head matchups that will determine the final winner of this year's contest, so it's the perfect time to check in and collect some hunches on how it will all play out.
So, even though we know it ain't over til it's over, we thought it would be fun to see just which (if any!) of our readers can spot the ultimate winner ahead of time. Take a minute to peruse the entries and share your top pick in the comments below (by entry title, please) - we're curious to see who the crystal ball of reader comments points to this year at this mid-point in the competition.
ALL THE ENTRIES
• TEENY TINY ENTRIES
• TINY ENTRIES
• LITTLE ENTRIES
• SMALL ENTRIES
• INTERNATIONAL ENTRIES
And, of course, whether you voted during the entry posting phase of the contest or not, you can still get involved and help propel your favorites (including YOUR top choice for the winner) on to victory by voting in the daily matchups as they are posted.
Who do you think will reign supreme in 2010? Let us know....

Ercol Bar Stool
Daniel from Brooklyn, Teeny-tiny
Kara from Long Beach, Small
Full Disclosure: I'm not kara nor do I know Kara.
G'luck!
Daniel from Brooklyn, Teeny-tiny
Kara from Small or Chris from Tiny. Either would be great choices.
Daniel, all the way!!!
I had thought Chris from Houston, but somehow missed Daniel; pretty strong contender.
i'm rooting for Shelbey from Chicago in the Tiny division!
Chris from Houston, Tiny!!!! I will SO miss small, cool.
Daniel from Brooklyn
I plead the fifth.
Chris from Houston, TX. When I first saw his entry I immediately thought this is a special, smart, and definitely a small cool space.
Kudos!
Not into contests -- just admire the creativity shown in so many of the entries. (But nobody gets my vote because I have too much trouble making comparisons and too little time for doing it.) So I can say, Good Luck to Everybody!
Daniel from Brooklyn.
Chris from Houston, TX or Beth from Sausalito, CA - I just can't decide between the two...
Brooklyn Daniel's going all the way because his space is more than just nice decor - he actually built a utilitarian and aesthetically cool solution for his previously even teenier space.
Well, it won't be me! Maybe next year...
They are all winners...
Daniel in the Teeny Tiny division - creative use of space, high quality construction
C'mon Patrick (the other one)! Don't hold out on us!
There are a couple that have done great construction and one of those will probably win, but my heart was stolen by Mary Kathryn's "Animated & Organised" 660 sq ft in Brooklyn (Little Division), I absolutely love it. Good luck Mary Kathryn!
I love the last years winner, but I'm happy to see the new entries don't all have the Eames chairs in them this year.
You can be cool without an Eames chair.
I've stopped voting or looking at the entries because of all the annoying pop-ups, so I'm not sure.
terrafaith--
I have a vested interest in Usheen's Organic Global, so it doesn't feel right to weigh in on this!! But it's been HARD!!!!
I will say, the overall caliber, and sheer variety of styles and solutions, has made this a really fascinating pool this year.
And kudos to the readers for *mostly* civil comments overall!
Lindsay from Brooklyn, NY. It's a perfect little home.
I'm with Amadea - Chris from Houston, TX or Beth from Sausalito, CA. I can't decide either. Until I saw Beth's, I thought Chris had it locked up.
I will say, I look (and vote) for a combination of clever-but-elegant solutions to issues of storage and/or floorplan challenge, a generally grown-up aesthetic, a mix of high/low elements, and images that would capture the attention of the non-AT world (as a fitting introduction to our creative community!).
I'm guessing it will be someone from Brooklyn. The odds are in their favor...
Kara from Long Beach, Small. I've been inspired!
Probably any home in blue or green.
It always happens.
Every year I feel disappointed by Small Col results.
The Apartment Therapy readers had a taste Casa Sugar.
