It's been a long winter here in Massachusetts. But slowly, slowly, temperatures are on the rise — which means it's time to get my kids back in the habit of going outside every day. Sometimes I need a little kickstart to get going. Is that something you need, too? Then click through to check out what I have in mind.
Nothing motivates me more than a little competiton. So how about it? This week, I am going to log in the comments section of this post how many minutes of outside play I get with my kids, and you should too! Then, next week we'll see who's come out on top. There are no prizes for the winner, apart from the fact that your kids and mine will be exposed to plenty of Vitamin D, new experiences and sensations, will be building healthy habits for their future, reducing their risk of developing chronic diseases, growing in confidence, and reducing their stress!
