If your home reveals your secrets, your bedroom shouts them. Here, in our most intimate space, is where we can let our hair down and truly be ourselves. So, when we get a chance to peek into the bedrooms of some famous people, past and present, we grab it. And sometimes we're surprised. Take the case of the bedroom above. I bet you'll never guess who it belongs to! Give up?
It's Woody Allen's bedroom!
Not what you were expecting, huh? Samplers! Who woulda thunk? For a look at some other famous, and equally surprising bedrooms (check out the ones belonging to Andy Warhol and Frank Sinatra), check out Flavorwire: Inside the Bedrooms of 15 Cultural Icons.
Do you think your bedroom fits you? What do you think the bedrooms of some current celebs might be like?

yuck!
I like the size/windows and floors.
Yuck? It's not ultra modern, but it sure looks cozy and peaceful!
I recognized the photo immediately from the documentary last night. I was shocked--seems like a granny's room.
A granny's room. It's anybody's room. Thought out and FINISHED. It is lovely .
As someone who has been obsessively looking for rugs for the last few months, it's all I can see in photos of any room. The number of rugs in that room is upsetting.
Different topic: What is the upholstered/skirted thing at the foot of the bed?
Is that a bassinette at the end of the bed? Or some sort of weird, skirted table? This looks like a room at some sort of Colonial B&B.
If two people with very good posture are attempting to lounge in those straight-backed chairs, who gets the footstool?
Gorgeous bed, though.
I bet the thing at the end of the bed holds a TV for late night viewing. I can't imagine any other purpose.
Ha-ha! That was exactly my guess. I saw a feature article in AD a couple of years ago and I was completely surprised by what I saw. Amazing...
It's a little weird, but sweet.
Not for me. Hate the wallpaper, the samplers, the random chairs, the skirted whatever-it-is, the bed, the light fixture, the lack of drapes... Nice flooring though. (Not the rugs, just the hardwood.)
Surprised that it's Allen's. But I never liked his humor, either, so maybe it all fits!
Another level on which to cringe at the thought of Woody Allen's bedroom.
Interesting. I liked three of the women writers' rooms best ~ Emily Dickinson, Flannery O'Connor, and Virginia Woolf, especially the bookshelves behind the bed in the last one.
Also, Woody Allen has a wife, so I'm guessing he didn't actually decorate this room himself.
I find this room kind of creepy....and now that I know who it belongs to, I really understand why.
If I never hear the term "Granny's room" again I will be most happy! I am so tired of watching House Hunters and hearing twenty-somethings complain, "This looks like my grandmother's house." What exactly is that, anyway? Your grandmother could very well live in one of those mid-century modern homes you are so crazy for! Oh, I guess I should walk into Monticello and gasp,"This looks like where my great, great, great, great, great grandmother lives!"
Wow, I wish I hadn't heard whose room this is but it is fascinating.. and kind of refreshing not to see something totally hip
I watched a show about Woody Allen on PBS last night that showed him in his house and I could remember that horrible wallpaper anywhere.
I'm not surprised. He gave an interview that was shown on PBS recently and it was shot in a room with similar furniture. The traditional american style is not my taste. I prefer his movie sets. Maybe he needs an interior decorator.
