Miki is a creative problem solver. Her son was winding up in her bed every night so to entice him to stay in his own, she made him a bed tent. Not only was her son, Uri, thrilled with it, she cleverly devised a super simple way to put it up and take it down - using a single table leg.
It might seem a little wacky, but Miki bought an office table leg at IKEA (a screw-able one like for the Vika Amon) and mounted the plate for it onto the wall above her son's bed. When Uri's not feeling like a tent Miki can easily take the leg off and the plate it screws into remains for the next time

If you're wondering what those cool round holders on the wall are (one of them covers the table leg plate so it blends right in), check out how Miki made them here.

That's a great idea! I just wonder how sturdy it is. Knowing my boys, they'd probably try to hang on it and rip the whole thing off the wall!
I love this idea. I want to create a reading nook for my toddler but her room doesn't have a lot of space-- this could fulfill that and also help keep her from falling out of the bed if I can rig it up properly.
I love this! I think I may try it but with more metal leg/pipes and on the wall going the other direction of the bed, since my son's bed is against the wall. That way I can get a longer stretch of fabric and a little more of a tent feeling over the whole bed!
Thanks for the inspiration!
