Why didn't they have this when I was a kid?! Thankfully, the Wibit Sports Park 60 is just as much for big kids as it is for little kids. If you own a lake house, you could turn your front yard into your very own adventure water park, complete with slides, swings, trampolines, and obstacles of all kinds.
The Wibit Sports Park 60 takes up, ohhh, a modest 131 feet by 105 feet in the open water, and can accommodate up to 60 of your thrillseeking friends, family and neighbors, and even their friends, family and neighbors.
Put in some strength training by climbing up the inflatable cliff, then cool off with a victory slide into the water on the other side. Or get into it American Gladiator-style with chicken fights on the balance beam. Or challenge your friends to an obstacle course worthy of a Fuel TV show.
And after you've tired yourself out, the Sports Park makes a relaxing private island to lounge on.

I don't really know what this is doing on Apartment Therapy, but it's awesome.
Back in the olden days we just had fun in the water, splashing and swimming and such. Oh wait, my kids still have fun that way!
Sarcasm aside, I'd be annoyed if a cottage neighbour stuck this in the water. Even if they did share, which these days people often don't or at least not in a casual "feel free" way, because of liability. My cottage neighbours had their kids tell us to get off their swimming dock for this reason.
This would take 3 days to inflate.. totally worth it.
I agree it looks like it'd be a lot of fun, but I agree more with JulieJuliette - if a neighbour installed this, I'd be digging out my scuba gear (including the knife) and going night diving ;).
hahah @Teakfreak, That's just mean!
Maybe rent one for a weekend party?!
Anyone have any idea how much this costs? I can't find any prices on the site and want to see if it's feasible!
Yeah, awesome idea but too bad it's so fugly.
This is a lifeguard's nightmare. Too many floats under which kids can get stuck and not be seen. It expands way out into the water, so you can't keep track of your children from the beach. Just a bad idea.
I don't have a lake house, but I know that if I did I would have a fit if a neighbor put this monstrosity in front of my house. You don't own the lake that far out from shore! Maybe this is for people who own their own "ponds"? I'm sure it's fun, but so is jumping off the dock or swim platform.
I picture this kind of contraption as a rental on a public lake for an afternoon, or a permanent fixture at a summer camp. Doubt people are going to pop it up in their backyard lake...
Ah-maaaazing!!! Nothing like a huge inflatable float for fun times with friends to bring out the complainers!
My family had bought a large floating slide for use on the lake. It took 4 adults just to set it up. We had a great time with it but it was such a pain we only used it once.
So my friend posted this a few weeks ago and I was obsessed. Apparently to buy one, it's over $70,000. The shipping is around $3-5,000 more. And it takes about 2 hours I think to inflate [what? how is that possible?].
My dream isn't crushed, I just need to find some investors. Yep.
After much research of Wibit I realized it is a great product however they only sell for commercial purposes in another words they won't sell to just anyone wanting to buy one as stated on their site.. This product is very popular in Europe to bad it should be here in the states...
I've been on one! Callaway Gardens, located about 30 minutes south from Atlanta's airport, in Pine Mountain, GA has one in their beach/lake. I went last summer with my husband and kids. FUN and very exhausting. You have to swim out to it and have to have decent muscle strength to pull yourself up onto the massive inflatable float. Once you get on it, you have to stay on it. It's like those obstacle courses you see on tv - lots of climbing, balancing and trying not to fall into the water, which happens a lot. The huge slide was my favorite part. But, of course you have to climb to get to the top. Reminded me of a rock climbing wall.
