WikiReader: For Know It Alls or Know Nothings

This humble little square digital device is a the equivalent of carrying around a whole set of encyclopedias and then some, with over 3 million topics to peruse on a scratch resistant tempered glass touchscreen. Just type in a word or phrase, or use one of the three buttons (search, history and random for you wild seekers of knowledge) and the WikiReader works just like it's online equivalent...

We don't think most iPhone/smart phone users will see much need for a device like this, but we could imagine this being an excellent stocking stuffer for children and teens, since it doesn't require a subscription and is powered by 2 AAA batteries for a year's worth of perusing. Or in the video example above, dropping some knowledge on your parents/grandparents so that can understand what the heck their grandkids are saying and referring to each Christmas.
