Even though I'm partial to the clean calmness of all white interiors, I can certainly appreciate the success of marrying multiple bright colors in one room. There's no feeling quite like walking into a room that is so bold and vibrant that you immediately feel happy. That's the reaction upon seeing photos of the accommodations at Hotel La Minervetta.
Hotel La Minervetta can be found in the luxuriously colorful city of Sorrento, Italy. The combination of the breathtaking views and vibrant interiors is brilliant.
The sheer confidence that the hotel exudes is reason enough for me to dream of staying there (when I make it to Italy!). Different shades of blues and greens mixed with pops of yellow &mdash genius! The blue and yellow tile floors are beyond unique and yet seem so right in an Italian hotel.
Each room takes on a completely new feeling. Some rooms are filled to the brim and bursting with color, while others are subdued with white linens and wood floors. Some dining areas have only hints of color, while others have been covered with it in every nook and cranny.

I love these colors! We bought our first house, and we painted every wall in the house! I really like the white walls that contrast with the bright ones in these photos. It's a great idea! Although that would mean painting again, and it's so much work! :-)

I stayed at La Minervetta in January 2010. (It's wonderful in the off-season.) I just wanted to clarify that the hotel is not in Naples - - it's in Sorrento, on the opposite side of the Bay of Naples.
Not a big fan of bold contrasting colors, but can still admire the sensational view...
I am a big fan of bright color, it's hard to walk into a bright room and not smile. The use of white in the hotel, keeps it tasteful and not overwhelming. Love it!
I love the blue tile!
Wow - What great rooms!
The tile work is outstanding - and I love that red bedroom!
My name is sundae*, and I approve these colours.
