Studio North is one of my favorite parts of Toronto's Interior Design Show, ID12. This year did not disappoint with clever creations in wood: interesting lighting, knotted tables, wine bottle racks, and wall hangings. Studio North features 60 Canadian and international designers in a shared space, with each having a smaller booth than the other exhibitors. This section tends to hold one-of-a-kind, custom and limited edition works of lighting, furniture, and accessories.
Last year's Show, IDS11, also offered strong wood pieces on display in Studio North. Wood seemed much more dominant this year.
