Studio North is one of my favorite parts of Toronto's Interior Design Show, ID12. This year did not disappoint with clever creations in wood: interesting lighting, knotted tables, wine bottle racks, and wall hangings.
Studio North features 60 Canadian and international designers in a shared space, with each having a smaller booth than the other exhibitors. This section tends to hold one-of-a-kind, custom and limited edition works of lighting, furniture, and accessories.
Last year's Show, IDS11
, also offered strong wood pieces on display in Studio North. Wood seemed much more dominant this year.
