I've been playing around with live edge wood for a while. I'm working on some wall mounted shelves that will be part 'wild' and part modern. I do like the trend a lot as long as one doesn't go overboard. Then it gets a bit too rustic.
There is something very unsettling about those pieces...can't put my finger on it but looking at them makes me nauseous.
