Wilfryd's Bright, Colorful Room

My Room

Name: Wilfryds
Location: Bristol, UK

Both my boyfriend Tom and I love color, so it was a great excuse to use lots of it when our son Wilf was born. We are big fans of vintage items but also love IKEA for bright Scandinavian prints.

We chose a cabin-style bed to utilize all of the space in his room which serves as a great den and extra storage for soft toys. We used trusty IKEA storage units for clothes and other toys but added vintage elements like the fan on the shelf and my old toys from when I was child.

90% of Wilf's toys are from my 80's childhood but then most of those toys were from charity shops too, so we have ended up with a pretty loved vintage toy collection. We used IKEA spice racks to store a small selection of books. These are one of the most useful products - we use them for storage around the home and even have them as coat hooks in our hallway!
