Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space:
I share my 363 ft condo with my partner Stewart and our cat Miso. This in itself poses a big challenge. Space is at a premium, so arrangement and thoughtful planning are essential. A lot of time is spent finding furniture that adds storage and serves multiple purposes. As you can see from the pictures, some of the areas are still a bit barren. I am still looking at ideas for what to do with the hallway and bathroom.

One of the biggest struggles when we moved in was to create the illusion that we had separate rooms without physical walls. We sifted through Craigslist, Ikea and local sales for an eclectic collection of old and new furnishings with varying colors to break up the space. Cleanliness is also vital to maintaining a small living space. Establishing good habits keeps our space from becoming cluttered and feeling small.
