It's simple in design, but the way the colors work with the soft roughness of the wool is amazing. And handmade makes it the bees knees (someone made it for Me!).

Garnet Hil has amazing things and this blanket is one of them. How BEAUTIFUL!! It reminds me of a rug I bought for my son (right after he was born...he is 18 now). I still have the rug (my son thinks he is too old for it...but I love it and use it). This blanket would not only compliment this rug and make a small place even cozier, it will cuddle me and keep me warm since I don't have my son to cuddle so much any more. He is a wonderful son, way bigger than me. I still try to put him on my lap...but he is an adult and cuts off my circulation :) This will keep me warm while he is focusing on his senior year, moving into his next phase of life. I would love this blanket and would love to win!! If I don't, I am thankful for a son that doesn't mind hanging with his mom...which warms my heart and is the best warmth of all!!

Have been lusting after this each time I open the Garnet Hill catalogue. Love it so much was trying to figure out if I could learn how to knit, and knit well enough to make a similar one. I've tried for years to learn how to knit, to no avail.
